How many Simulators are available?
Each center will have multiple simulators, with Racing and Flight included in each membership. As each facility grows, more simulators will be added. Most centers opening phase will have between 4 to 8 rigs to start out with more planned to be built has membership grows.
Do I have to book a specific rig for the type of sim racing or flight I want to do?
Short Answer: Book any race rig to race. Book any flight rig for flight.

Our sim racing center includes versatile rigs that seamlessly adapt to most racing or flight software. Each rig is equipped with additional hardware to ensure universal compatibility. For flight enthusiasts, our rigs feature both a side mounted H.O.T.A.S. controls and center mounted yoke, catering to different aircraft preferences. Whether you're piloting a commercial airliner or a fighter aircraft, we've got you covered.
Our racing rigs are tailored to accommodate various racing preferences. While F1 cars may not typically feature handbrakes and manual gearboxes, we still equip all our rigs with these accessories (and more) to enhance the experience for members with almost any racing title.

Is there any assistance or instruction for beginners?
Each new member will have a detailed orientation and tour of the center. We will show you each rig, both race and flight, how to use their hardware, software, and the provide the proper procedure from starting your session to ending it. A database will also be provided to all members to ensure support is available 24/7.
​
We also have additional flight and race instruction sessions each month to help new and seasoned members enhance their skills either on the track or in the air.

There is no additional fee for training, coaching, or instruction. Its all included in your membership.
How long can I use the Simulator for?
Each member is allotted a 2-hour or 3-hour session on the simulator, depending on their membership. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we kindly ask members to avoid starting any online races or flights that would exceed their allocated time and to be completely logged off the rig a few minutes before the session ends. Don't worry about losing progress in AI races, career modes, or most flight scenarios — they can be saved and resumed later.

Anyone who has to wait for a member more than a few minutes is encourage to contact management so we can address the policy with members who abuses this honor system.

How often can make reservations?
Members have the freedom to make reservations at their convenience. However, in the spirit of fairness and to accommodate all members, we limit each member to having a maximum of 3 future reservations at any given time. Once a session is completed, members are welcome to book their next session, with a maximum of 3 standing reservations at a time. This system ensures that everyone has an equal opportunity to secure their preferred times while enjoying the flexibility to plan ahead.
Can I reserve a race rig and a flight rig in the same day?
Absolutely! Sessions are scheduled in 1-hour blocks, allowing you to tailor your experience to your preferences. If you're eager to immerse yourself in both a Race rig and Flight rig, simply reserve a 1-hour block for each activity.

For members with a 3-hour membership, you have the flexibility to allocate your time as you see fit. You can book a 2-hour session on one rig and a 1-hour session on the other or vice versa.
If I'm short on time, can I book just one hour regardless of my membership?
You're busy. We get it. Sometimes you want a rig for 2 or 3 hours but realize you can only stay for 1 hour. No problem! Regardless of which membership you have, you will always have the option to book a quick 1 hour block on any rig, depending on the rigs availability.

If you realize that you've booked a 2 or 3 hour block but know you'll have to leave early, just do us a solid and reschedule your booking to only be a 1 hour block, or 2 hour if you scheduled a 3 hour block.
​
If you've started a 2 or 3 hour session and you get called away from the center, the scheduling system may not allow you to cancel or reschedule. No problem. If you have the time, shoot us a quick text so we can clear the unused blocks.
Are there any age restrictions?
HYVE Virtual Motorsports is a 24/7 center with limited management onsite. Those interested in our center who are under the age of 18 must meet with management and a parental guardian. Membership is not guaranteed and will be granted on a case-by-case basis with safety being our top priority. Regardless of members ages, no member under the age of 18 will be allowed in the center after 10pm.

How do I access the center?
During New Member Orientation, our team will help you create an account with our door access software, get their app on your preferred mobile device, and confirm the Bluetooth door access works correctly. From there, as you approach the center, simply open the app, tap 'check in', be within a few feet of the door and wait for the beep. The door will then unlock and quickly lock automatically behind you. This process will be in our video database to be accessed anytime 24/7 if you need additional help. If any member has issues, please don't hesitate to contact management anytime, day or night for help.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Each membership includes one guest they can bring anytime. However, there are some restrictions. Members who bring a guest must share the same rig. Guests cannot use other rigs even if other rigs are not currently occupied.

When racing, members who bring a guest can create a 'driver stint' race where a driver swap is required at every pitstop. This is a fun event for members who want to race as a team. Time Trials are also great events with a guest.
​
With flight, there are many scenarios and operations pilots can attempt. Depending on your skill, objectives and how well you do, points are awarded at the end of the operation. Have fun competitions with your guest to see who can get the most points. Check out the online leaderboards and ranking systems and compete with pilots around the world!
Membership & Cancellation
Cancellation fee? Nope!
​
Memberships are 12 months starting the day you sign up. Cancel anytime before your agreement ends, just give us 30 day notice. The good news is that you will still have access for the rest of your current month's membership.
​
There are no sign up fees or renewal fees. Members who are approaching the end of their agreement may renew via mobile app or contact a member of our support team at info@hyvemotorsports.com.
Members who renew their membership will again receive the game credits for new title or upcoming titles and DLCs.

I have a rig/software at home, can I still be a member?
Heck yeah! Regardless of your home setup, any member has full membership access to amenities and events. Most events will be held at one of our centers which the members would need to attend in person and on-site to participate, but we will have training and instruction via Twitch that members can follow remotely anytime.
​
Members who have home setups can practice at home and compete at our center. They could start a career race at the center, save their progress to later finish at home. Having a budget friendly rig a home but access to high-end simulator 24/7 could be the perfect setup.
​
Licensing and third party client restrictions may apply, but let us know your setup, what software you like to use, and we can provide you all available options before you become a member.
How many members?
​
At our centers, we ensure a personalized experience for every member. To maintain this commitment, we carefully gauge our membership numbers to provide each member ample opportunities to book times for their activities.
Each of our centers is designed to support 50-75 members, depending on factors such as location and the number of rigs available. While we start with a foundational set of rigs, we expand our facilities in tandem with our growing membership base, ensuring everyone enjoys optimal access and convenience. Membership will be limited to provide our current members the best possible accessibility and experience.
Can I film and/or create a YouTube/Social Media
following?
100% YES! Use our high-end rigs and 24/7 access to film and create as much race and/or flight video as you want. You don't even need to give us any credit, but we'll take some it if you're offering :)

Grab your camera gear, film within your scheduled block, edit at home, create a following, earn a few bucks. Nothing wrong with that!

What Hours Are You Open?
We are Utah's first 24/7 Sim Racing and Flight Center. Members will be able to access our rigs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply open the app, find a block that works for you, and your rig will be ready.
Membership Vs. Hourly
HYVE Virtual Motorsports will be the first 24/7 membership based Racing & Flight Simulator center in Utah. For one low monthly price you can access our facility anytime you'd like unlimited days per month.

At an hourly rate sim center, fees are the issue. We won't mention names, but here are areas and pricing for those that charge hourly rates:
THE OTHER CENTERS:
SALT LAKE CITY: $60 for 1 HR or $90 for 2 hours
($90 for 2 Hours X 5 days p/wk = $450 p/wk)
LOS ANGELES: $45 p/30 min race or $59 for 2 races (1 hr)
($59 x 3 hours = $177 p/day X 5 days p/wk = $885 per week!
DENVER: $120 p/hr
($120 x 3 hours = $360 p/day X 5 days p/wk = $1,800 per week!

Yup! Any member who refers someone to HYVE and they sign up for an annual membership will receive:

What do I do with the Steam Credits?
Steam credits provided to members should be used to purchase sim software such as games and DLCs.
Can I purchase steam sim content with my own funds and will it work on any rig?
Yes! All members will receive Steam credits to get them started. Members who want to buy more content on their own are welcome to do so. Most software (games) and DLCs are already downloaded on each rig. Members unlock the right to access that content as soon as they purchase the software/license on Steam.

If a member buys a title that outside of our featured titles list, please let management know so we can make sure its downloaded in advanced for you. We don't want our members wasting their block time on downloads and installs. Let us do that for you :)

What is your food and drink policy?
No one wants to sit in a rig with crumbs on the seat and a sticky steering wheel. Please enjoy all food and beverages in the players lounge or lobby areas. Food and drinks are not allowed near the rigs or while using the rigs. If you see anyone disregarding this policy, please contact management us so we can address the issue.

Remember, the rig is yours for your booked time. If you need to use the restroom or go grab a drink at the convenience store next door, that's ok! Your rig will be waiting for you when you get back. Just don't forget your phone so you can get back in!

Can I change the Key Bindings and Buttons on a rig?
Yes! Make our rigs your rigs! Each member will have a custom profile to log into the PC. Any changes in-game such as button bindings, difficulty settings, saved progress, etc. will be saved to that profile. Any rig you sign into, regardless of the rig you created your custom setup on, will be saved and then loaded onto all the rigs. Log into any rig with your profile and it will be like you never left.

Please note that it may take a booking or two to dial in which software you want to use, get the buttons and wheel settings right, etc. It may be a lot at first, but we are here to help you. Feel free to contact management and schedule a time to walk you through the settings. We are happy to help!
Can I use Discord?
Absolutely! Discord and a few other applications/clients will be accessible to our members. It will be all on your desktop when you log in.
