HOW IT STARTED
Sim racing has been a passion of mine for several years, blending my love for speed with the thrill of virtual competition. As an avid golfer frequently using 24/7 golf simulator studios, I found myself inspired by their convenience and accessibility. Everything changed one summer night in 2023 after watching the Gran Turismo movie. The gaming café scene, with its simulators and gaming computers set in a chill atmosphere, sparked an idea that wouldn't let go.

I couldn't sleep that night and multiple nights after. I kept thinking: "Could I create a 24/7 sim racing center? Golfers have their 24/7 studios, so why not bring that concept to sim racing? Could I bridge the gap between the racing enthusiast and the late-night gamer to create a round-the-clock racing hub?" Fueled by this vision, I gathered a dedicated team and we began brainstorming and planning.

Nearly a year later, with the unwavering support and collaboration of some incredible friends, we are proud to introduce HYVE Virtual Motorsports, Utah's first 24/7 Sim Racing and Flight Center. Our first location in Davis County, Clearfield, is set to open on August 1, 2024 with free tours, rig demos and pre-sales starting in July 2024.

But we’re just getting started. We are actively seeking spaces in Salt Lake and Utah counties with plans to open multiple centers throughout Utah in 2025. Our mission is to provide a state-of-the-art, immersive experience for racing enthusiasts and gamers alike, no matter the hour.
